This movie is a remake of an Icelandic movie Reykjavik Rotterdam which was released in 2009 written by Arnaldur Indrioason and Oskar Jonasson. Directed by Baltasar Kormakur, the screenplay of this movie is penned down by Aaron Guzikowski. This movie is starring Mark Wahlberg, Kate Beckinsale, Ben Foster and Giovanni Ribisi in lead roles. The protagonist of this movie Chris Farraday who is a former drug peddler is now again brought to the world of crime by Tim Briggs. He don’t have any intentions to indulge in this crime world but he have to join it to settle the debt of his brother in law Andy. Moreover he is also fighting with his financial troubles. He is offered just one illegal job which will settle the debt of Andy and also helps him to overcome his financial troubles.
